Two years ago Jeff Short suffered an injury and was lost for the season. He sat out last season after transferring from Fordham. This season he has exploded on to the scene at Norfolk State, scoring over 20 points per game. The 6-foot-4 guard, from the Bronx, NY doesn’t lack confidence, nor should he. While putting up lofty numbers, Short is shooting over 53% from the field. The junior is also connecting on 42% from beyond the arc and he is an 84% free throw shooter. His arrival has made a big impact for Norfolk State, which lost six seniors including All-American Pendarvis Williams, but has not missed a beat.
