Gadson is now the recipient of the CollegeInsider.com
Mid-Major Freshman of the Year.
The 6-foot-7 Gadson finished his rookie campaign with
a career-best 24 points against Liberty in the
inaugural CollegeInsdier.com Postseason Tournament,
giving everyone a preview of things to come.
“He’s a future pro,” says CollegeInsider.com’s Joe
Dwyer. “He has the size and talent he just needs to
refine his game, but he has all the tools to be a
special player.”
Gadson was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic
Conference Rookie of the Week six times this season
and was named to the MAAC All-Rookie team despite
starting just nine games and averaging less than 25
minutes played per game.
He averaged 11 points and six rebounds per game for
the Broncs, finishing in the top 15 in the MAAC in
rebounding, field goal percentage (.455) and blocked
shots (1 bpg). |
