Mid-Major Defensive Player of the Year.
The 6-foot-7 senior finished his career as the fifth all-time
leading shot blocker in NCAA Division I basketball history. His
460 career blocks leave him ahead of Alonzo Mourning in fifth
place on the NCAA career blocks list.
He led the Southland Conference in rebounding (9.5) and blocked
shots (3.9). Overall he was second in the nation in blocks per
game (4.1) trailing only Kentucky's Anthony Davis who was the
recipient of the 2012 Lefty Driesell Defensive Player of the
Year award.
