Corey Hawkins (UC Davis)

The 6-foot-3 senior has helped UC Davis to the best start in the 104-year history of the program. The All-American has also helped the Aggies to their first-ever ranking in the Mid-Major Top 25. Hawkins began his career at Arizona State where he played in 24 games and had a season-high 13 points in the season-finale against Oregon State. He made an immediate impact upon arrival at UC Davis and was named 2012-13 Big West Newcomer of the Year after averaging over 20 points per game.  The two-time Lou Henson All-American was named to both the award’s preseason and mid-season Watch Lists. Hawkins hold the school record for points in a game with 40.
