Stephen Croone (Furman)

According to CI's Angela Lento, if you are making a list of unknown stars, Stephen Croone needs to be on it. Furman's 6-foot junior is one of those players that makes everyone around him better.  Despite being a 2014-15 preseason First Team All-Southern Conference selection, Croone doesn’t get much national attention. The top returning scorer in SoCon averaged 19 points per game last season and was in double-figures in 29 of Furman's 30 games. He’s a member of the Furman’s 1,000 point club and he is the first Paladin to score 40 points in a game since 1972. They know how good he is in SoCon country, but he is a virtual unknown to most college basketball fans. And that’s too bad because he's got game.

And be sure to check out the trailer for "Gravity," starring Stephen Croone.
