Mark Nwakamma (Hartford)

Mark Nwakamma has had a terrific career at the University of Hartford and the 6-foot-6 senior would like it to end in the NCAA Tournament. Hartford’s first-ever two-time America East All-Conference First Team selection has been a three-year co-captain for the Hawks. As sophomore he helped Hawks to first-ever Division I postseason appearance and this season he has been a key contributor in the program's best start since moving to division I. He ranks in the top 10 in Hartford's Division I history in Points, Free Throws Made and Blocked Shots. The 24th member of Hartford’s 1,000-point club, Nwakamma is also a star in the classroom. He is two-time America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection.
