Former
Coaches headline Selection Committee
Jan. 26, 2009
BOSTON (MA) -- The CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament will have
over 200 years of coaching experience determining the participating
teams.
Ten former coaches, including Lefty Driesell, Lou Henson, Jim Phelan, Nolan
Richardson and Hugh Durham are a part of the 15-member selection
committee, which includes four members of the CollegeInsider.com staff.
Former Purdue head coach Gene Keady will serve on the Tournament
Committee.
“This is an outstanding group of individuals,” says Hugh Durham who
built national programs at both Florida State and Georgia. “One of the
things we wanted to do was to put together a selection committee that
would best be able to determine the 16 teams that would participate.
There is no question that we accomplished that.”
