MICHAEL MCNAIR EARNS LOU HENSON AWARD NATIONAL PLAYER OF WEEK HONORS

BOSTON, MA -- Boston University’s Michael McNair has been named the Lou Henson award National Player of the Week. The 6-foot-5 junior led the Terriers to a pair of conference wins last week.

Last Wednesday, McNair posted a career-high 29 and 5 rebounds on the road at Lafayette. He was 5-of-8 from three-point range. On Saturday he finished with 28 points and 5 rebounds against Army. BU’s leading scorer was 7-of-8 from beyond the arc. 

The Lou Henson award is presented annually to the top mid-major player in division I college basketball.  The award voting panel is made up of current division I coaches, athletic administrators, and senior College Insider staff members.
