KOA PEAT LUTE OLSON AWARD NATIONAL PLAYER OF WEEK

BOSTON, MA -- Arizona’s Koa Peat has been named the Lute Olson award National Player of the Week. The 6-foot-8 freshman led the Wildcats to a pair of wins to open the season. 

Peat opened the season with 30 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals against, defending National Champion, No. 3 Florida. For the week he averaged 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. He shot 68% from the field. 

The Lute Olson award is presented annually to the top player in division I college basketball, as voted on by current and former coaches, athletic directors and members of the media.
