Two years ago Abilene Christian made its first-ever postseason appearance in the CIT and last year they punched a ticket to the Big Dance. Now they are looking for a third straight trip to the postseason.
Kevaney Martin
Kevaney was born and raised in north western Pennsylvania in the VERY small town of Oil City. Growing up it was rare to see her without a basketball in hand. The dedication eventually paid off as she earned a full scholarship to play hoops at Monmouth University. Unfortunately, Kevaney endured several serious knee injuries during her four-year career as a Hawk so her time on the court was limited. Kevaney graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in journalism.
Since graduating, Kevaney has worked as a Color Commentator, Sideline Reporter, Sports Anchor and Reporter in various cities across the country. A self-proclaimed sports nut if she isn't covering a sporting event it's a safe bet she is either playing or watching them.
