Penn’s Ethan Roberts has been named the Lou Henson award National Player of the Week

ETHAN ROBERTS NAMED LOU HENSON AWARD NATIONAL PLAYER OF WEEK

BOSTON, MA -- Penn’s Ethan Roberts has been named the Lou Henson award National Player of the Week. The 6-foot-5 senior led the Quakers to a pair of wins last week.

Roberts opened the week with 31 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals as the Quakers beat Saint Joseph’s for the first time since the 2018-19 season.  He closed out the week with 30 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals against Drexel to help Penn advance to the championship game of the Big 5 Classic on Dec. 6.

The Lou Henson award is presented annually to the top mid-major player in division I college basketball, as voted on by current and former coaches, athletic directors and members of the media.
